2018 Blue Jeans Week 8

We had a good week.  Looking back sometimes I wonder what we did, so I am so grateful I take pictures to remember each day and what happened because without them I would forget a lot!  We enjoyed Monday off and then had a crazy weather week with ball games cancelled and postponed due to a bad ice storm.  Hate ice storms.  This one was really bad, but I am grateful we didn't lose power and everyone traveled safely and no one had any traffic accidents!  Driving in ice is the worst!  Take a look at our week. . .
Monday no school, so Mr J and I went to the library together and then made some cookies.  The girls went out shopping, so we enjoyed being together!  Getting some rain today that will turn into ice later.

The ice arrived Tuesday late morning.  It was the worst ice storm we have had in a few years.  It is really pretty as long as your power stays on and you don't have to drive in it!!!

Got some pictures from Miss A---they took a week's trip to Southern Spain last week.  So pretty!

Senior night this week--last basketball game and pep band for this girl.   So proud of her!  This year is flying by way too fast!

Miss O playing in her last high school pep band for basketball.

Miss A in Toledo, Spain

Miss A and her study abroad group from BYU--10 kids plus the professor and his cute family (the little kids) in Sevilla, Spain.  What an amazing adventure she is having!!!  I love all the different architecture.  The USA is such a young country when compared to the really old European buildings and history!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you have a great week and come back soon!

  1. Yikes- it is pretty but no thanks to the ice storms. Love that picture of you and Mr J and of course the pictures Miss A sends. What an amazing experience for her. Senior moments are great but also sad. Can't believe I'll do doing that again next year.

  2. WOW! The pic from that ice storm looks intense! We've had some really bad ice storms like that down here in TX, too. I'm so glad y'all didn't lose power. I'm super jealous of all the Spain pics. It looks like Miss A is having some incredible experiences. I ♥ Europe!
