2019 Blue Jeans Week 39

We had a good week.  Still waiting for fall-like temps here.  It is still too hot and humid to be anywhere near fall-like.  Great cross country race this week, and I got other pictures besides that, so that is also good!  Take a look at our week....

Sunday afternoon games are a big deal at our house.  Ben and Miss E enjoy a new game we recently got.

Our school board is the best!  We had a meeting this week and were in a different building than usual.  Lots of good things happening!  Great, great people!

Home cross country meet this week, and these kids did awesome!  Both medaled and both of their teams got first place! 

Even though it doesn't feel like fall, it will come and along with that flu season, so the kids had a day off this past week, so we went and all got our flu shots done.  Not our favorite thing, but so important!

This awesome group of kids is our fall homecoming court.  Miss E is up there.  Homecoming is next week, so that will be fun!

Our amazing girls' cross country team!  They are so cute and just plain awesome on the courses this year! 

Took in a baseball game this weekend as the season comes to a close.  It was a lot of fun!

2019 Blue Jeans Week 38

Lots of cross country pictures this week.  I need to remember to take pictures of other things :)  It was a very hot and humid race day, but the kids did awesome!  Take a look....

Miss E rockin' her race!  She got 12th place, and they medal the top 15.  Woohoo!

He rocked it this week and got an individual medal in his varsity race.  He got 14th and they medal top 15.

Our awesome girls team got 2nd as a team.  Loving those team medals!

And our awesome boys team got first!!!  Every boy got an individual medal plus the team gold medal.  Sweet!

Our date for this week was going on an 18 mile bike ride.  It was a little warm, but we made it!  I am looking forward to doing it again when it is about 20 degrees cooler!

2019 Blue Jeans Week 37

Another hot week, cross country race #2 was hot and wet and rainy, but the kids did awesome!  Went to the state capitol for Mr J for an award, and it was a good week.  Take a look...

Mr J entered a writing contest and won for his age division, and the awards were given out at the state capitol.  Pretty awesome!

2019 Blue Jeans Week 36

It has been a hot week here (I am so ready for fall temps!), but a good one!  My college girls started back to school, we had our first cross country meet of the season, and man it was hot!  But we did awesome!  Take a look at our week!

My college girls' first day!  Love that they took their first day picture together!  And like the guy on the ladder in the back :)

Our high school has an awesome internship program for seniors and every day for 2 hours Miss E gets to work at the hospital.  They rotate her to a different department every two weeks.  It is awesome!  Here she is with her mentor showing a port they use with patients.  It is a great learning experience for her!!!

Our seniors this year on our cross country team.  Miss E has known these kids since kindergarten.  Awesome kids!

And this girl is submitting her college application today for BYU!  She is hoping to join her sisters next year!  We will find out if she gets in mid-February 2020!  Just a few months to wait.....:)

First cross country meet of the year, and it was soooo hot!  92 degrees and humid!  This was our girls varsity team, and they did awesome!  A great group of girls!!

Mr J ran JV and got first!!!  His first high school cross country race as a freshman, and he did so awesome!  Coach said that was his first and last JV race as he is moving him to varsity next week.  Super proud of this kid!  Excited to see what the season holds for him!!

2019 Blue Jeans Week 35

Loved having everyone home for most of last week!!!  The girls headed back to school end of the week because they started today.  It was a fun week even though the younger kids were in school.  The girls and Ben got to go to Hamilton and LOVED it!  It was a great week!  Take a look....

Took the girls to lunch at a yummy place.   We got pie, but we didn't get pictures of that.  Their pie is amazing!

Feel the love, or the claustrophobia :)  family togetherness.  I think they were looking at something on a phone. 

Seniors can buy a specific parking spot at the school and then can paint it so everyone knows it is theirs.  Miss E was very happy to have her sisters help her paint her parking spot this week while they were home.

And she finally got it done!  Woohoo!  It is going to look awesome in her kitchen at her new apartment when she gets back to school!  Super cute!

Went on a walk with these two.  Miss O found that lighter on the ground and had to include it in our picture :)

And these lucky 4 are headed to the Broadway musical of Hamilton tonight!  Woohoo!  They are excited!

Ben sent me this.  They all LOVED it!  They said they had goosebumps from the second it started until after the curtain closed.  Awesome!
