2021 Blue Jeans Week 45

We had a wonderful week!  Ben and I flew out to see Miss O and get some wedding stuff done.  It was a great trip to be with family.  We just missed Mr J!  Have a look at our week....

Had dinner with our family and Mr JC's family.  Such Wonderful people!  Missing our Mr J!

We stayed at my family's cabin in the mountains for the weekend and had some beautiful morning walks!

Went to our favorite place to get thick ice cream shakes!

Sure love these two and excited to have Mr JC as part of our family!

Enjoyed some family game nights!

Also got to see my 95 year old grandma!  Made my day.  She is amazing!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 44

Busy week starting with Halloween on Sunday.  We had no trick-or-treaters as normal.  We had yummy pumpkin sugar cookies though!  Did some things with some girlfriends and got some pictures from my college kids.  Ben and I got away for the weekend.  It was a good week.  Take a look...

One of our favorite Halloween traditions is making and decorating sugar cookies. Mr J helped me make them this year.

Miss O and Mr JC on one of their temple trips through the state of Utah this week.

My mom went out to visit family and took my kids and others to dinner.  Fun to see them all together in this picture with my amazing 95 year old grandma!

Went with a good friend to worship in the temple this week.  Love this girl! Had a great day!

Went with some other friends for a GLO and shopping.  Love these ladies!

My girls went shopping and had lunch together and sent me this.  Made my heart happy!

Ben and I went to the city for the weekend and also visited the temple.  It is such a place of peace and a wonderful place to feel God's love!  It was a great weekend!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 43

Super exciting news this week!  We have another wedding in the family!!!  WooHoo!! Soooo excited for Miss O and Mr JC!!!!  Take a look at our week...

Our church had a trunk or treat that was moved inside due to rain.  Nice to do one this year!

Date night this week was eating out and then going on a bike ride.

But the MOST important thing that happened this week was these two got engaged!!  Miss O and Mr JC!!!!

SOOOOO excited for them!  December wedding (yes that is fast, but its all good!)  So excited to add this amazing young man to our family!

And I think these are my only kids that dressed up this year for Halloween---Mr A and Mrs A went to a Halloween themed murder mystery party.  She was the judge (RBG vibes) and he was a rich railroad baron.  Lots of fun!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 42

Busy week last week.  Birthdays, last cross country race, and life in general.  It was a good week.  Take a look...

Our Sunday game was my favorite Silver and Gold, and we made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  Yum!

Walking on the trails this week with my mom.  Fun to do that with her!

It was my dad's birthday this week.  I made him a banana cream pie for his birthday cake.

I early voted today!  Be sure and get out and vote for the elections on Nov 2!  It may just be local elections, but they are so important!

Cake I made this week for Ben's birthday.  He wanted a pineapple upside down cake.

And a happy birthday to this amazing guy!

Date night this week was a bike ride through town on the lighted paved trails.  Nice to have that option to ride at night in town.

Last cross country race of the season.  This was Mr J's pre-race team prayer.  Love that they do this.  Great group of boys!  They had a good season! Proud of Mr J and all of them!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 41

We had a good week.  Went to lunch with some friends, had a great cross country meet, date night and our college kids got together.  Take a look at our week....

GLO--love these two and grateful we could enjoy a beautiful GLO outside today!

Another lunch date with an older friend :) Sure love her!

Ben and the young men decided they were going to make ties.  Some women from our congregation who actually know how to sew came to help them.  Excited to see what they look like!

Cross country race for the week.  These boys did awesome!  League champions!!!  Woohoo!  Proud of Mr J!

Parade this weekend!  Love seeing Mr J in the marching band.  They sounded good!

Date night this week was a live, in-person concert that was amazing!  Sure love being with this guy!

Picture from my college kids.  They got together this weekend for dinner and a game night. Love seeing this!  Love and miss them!  Excited to see them at Christmas!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 40

We had a good week.  No cross country race this week, girls did some hiking and got together, and I love to see that.  Last home football game.  Take a look at our week...

Miss O and Miss E climbed a huge mountain this week!  17 miles and 8 hours of hiking, and they are awesome!

Our recycling piles in the garage.  So grateful our community now does all different kinds of recycling!

Ben making his wonderful aebelskivers for breakfast one day this week.  They are a round Danish pancake that Ben's dad made for him growing up.  Yummy!  I love them with nutella and sliced bananas!

These fun kids got together this week and made pumpkin scones.  Impressive!  Missing Mr A who had to work.

Mr J working hard as he does each evening to get his homework done!

Love these girls!  Love they make the effort to get together for lunch every week!  Makes my heart happy!

Beginning to look more fall-ish on the walking trails.  This week I saw this bright yellow and black feather on the trail.  Not sure what kind of a bird it is from, but so pretty!

Date night this week involved ordering a pizza and having a picnic outside before heading to a football game.  Sure love this guy and our weekly dates!

Last home football game of the season which means last band halftime performance of the season.  The band and Mr J did a great job this year!

2021 Blue Jeans Week 39

Hello!  A little late again posting this week.  Seems like the days just slip by!  We are good.  It has been a good week.  Still looking for consistent fall-like temps!  Great cross country race for Mr J this week and another race for Miss O.  Take a look at our week.... 

Sunday game night...one of my favorite things.  We played King Domino tonight and Mr J made us pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.  Yum!

Miss O and her boyfriend did a 10 K race--in the rain!  They are pretty amazing!

Made another cake this week.  This was for a party at Ben's work.  It is a golden Oreo cake.  Yummy!

Mr J's cross country race for the week.  He did a great job!  Loving his season this year!!

Homecoming week, and we always have a school parade.  Mr J marching in the band during the parade.  Love our small town parades!

Friday night lights and the band playing at half-time.  Another one of my favorite things!
