2018 Blue Jeans Week 12

Last week was spring break and we didn't have any big plans.  We did lots at the house, relaxed, did lots of Legos, went to the city, bought a new (to us) car, had my birthday and got some dance lessons from my Dad.  It was a nice break.  We all enjoyed sleeping in!  Now is the crazy rush of the last 6 weeks of school!  Graduation is coming and time is just flying by!  Take a look at our week. . .
Ben and Mr J's spring break project was to go through several lego sets and make sure they still had all the pieces.  This was my family room floor for most of the week :)  You had to be careful where you stepped because stepping on a lego is no fun!

This was mid week as they had several sets put together on the table by the TV and several more they were working on. Legos are just classic fun!  We sure love them at our house.

One day we went to the city for shopping and lunch--Fazoli's was our stop and it was yummy!

Miss A went to the Basque country--Northern Spain/ Southern France this past week.  It was beautiful there!  This was a cool art museum they went to.

We have been looking for a new (to us) used car for the past 6 months and finally found one that would work for us, so Ben took off one day last week, and we went to another city to get it.  It is a Honda Civic, and we really like it.  Our van is also a Honda.  We love our Hondas!

Happy birthday to me!  Ben made me cheesecake with lemon curd topping.  Sooo good!

My Dad loves to dance and is very good at swing, walt, etc.  Saturday night he invited us to the church to teach us basic swing dancing and other ballroom dance steps.  It was fun!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you have a great week!

    1. Yes, Maai moved in with another family. She was only supposed to be with us a few months. We enjoyed her while we had her!

  2. Happy Birthday! Love the sound of your cake. Legos are so much fun. We have thinned out our collection but still have quite a few sets and free pieces. Nice new car and looks like fun times in the city.
