2018 Blue Jeans Week 33

So summer is officially over for half of my kids.  School started here this week for Miss E and Mr J.  My college girls have 2 more weeks and are soaking it in before they start.  It was a short school week, just two days, so we enjoyed the last few days of summer we had!  Take a look at our week. . .

On one of Miss E's last days of summer, she decided she wanted to make pizza.  Yummy!

This has been Mr J's favorite spot this summer on the super hot days...this has been his Lego building station for the summer as he has built some of his old Lego kits.  It has been fun to see what he makes.

Miss O had the desire to make her some biscuits and gravy--all from scratch!  So good!  She used one of our favorite biscuit recipes and the sausage gravy she got from the new Magnolia Table cookbook.  It was soooo good!

Did some last minute back to school clothes shopping with these two.  We had fun!

Hit up A&W for this guy's favorite cheese curds as a last day before school treat.

And it begins!  Miss E on her first day of her junior year of high school!

And Mr J on his first day of 8th grade!

Catching up...last week was our last full week of summer before school starts this next week.  We enjoyed it.  Take a look at our week. . .

Ben made his awesome rice pudding for a treat this week.  Yum!  One of my favorite things!

And these girls have their last day of work today.  They have been working very hard every day since school got out.  Proud of their hard work!  I think they are glad to be done!

2018 Blue Jeans Week 31

I am behind and catching up on the last two weeks.  Summer is quickly coming to an end.  School starts here tomorrow.  So, take a look at our last few weeks of summer that we really enjoyed!

Celebrated my mom's birthday.  Mr J made a chocolate mint cake on the left and my sister made her a strawberry cream cake on the right.  Both were divine!  Yummy!

We played some Frisbee golf as a family.  We have a nice course in our town that we enjoy playing together.

Went out to see these kids hard at work at their summer job!  They get just a little bit dirty :)

Had some car problems.....

Enjoyed National Root Beer float day!  Yum!  One of our favorite treats!

And this guy got his locker for school and got it all ready to go!  School is quickly on its way!
