Homecoming week is always busy and lots of fun. We love our small town, the parades, activities, our schools and the awesome people who help and teach our kids! Take a look at our week. . .
For our church youth group the kids made bottle rockets and then set them off. Lots of fun!
During homecoming week, each day has a different theme that you can dress up as, one day this week was Fab Family Day where you could dress like a member of your family, Miss E chose to dress like Ben :)
Cross Country race #1 for the week. In Mr J's race, they had 10 medals. He was running in 11th place most of the race. During the last 50 yards he sprinted ahead of the number 10 runner and beat him right before the finish line. It was awesome to see. My mom is cheering him on in the background in the white hat. Go Mr J go!
Cross country race #2 for the week. Miss E and her team rocked their race! Their team got 1st place and she got 5th place personally. Woohoo!
Homecoming parade. Miss E is the Junior Class President, and so she is in charge of the junior class float. They had the grim reaper, a graveyard and the buried wildcat :)
The cross country team pushed the old truck of their 76 year old coach, Mr J is back there pushing. He has been the coach for 50 years and has had the same truck :)
General Conference was this weekend for our church--The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We have it twice a year and receive guidance and direction from our worldwide leaders. It is always a wonderful weekend!
Miss O and her friends at the football game this weekend. Lots of fun!
