2019 Blue Jeans Week 32

End of summer vacation last week.  We got away from the heat and humidity and hit 10,000 feet in the mountains at Keystone, CO where humidity doesn't exist and the highs were in the low 70's and the lows in the upper 40's.  We took our bikes and loved riding them every day around the paved trails in Summit County.  It was a great trip!  We have been there several times and just love it every time we go.  Take a look....
The wild flowers and flowers in general were gorgeous when we were there!

Getting ready to head down Vail Pass!  One of my favorite bike rides ever!  We were doing the 14 miles to Frisco, and it is all downhill!  Woohoo!

Along the path--gorgeous views!

More gorgeous views along the path!

A different day riding down from Keystone to Dillon Lake

Riding over the Dillon Lake Dam

This was our first family vacation without all our family.  That was weird!  But we could not make schedules work with our college girls, and we sure missed them!  This is our new normal now.  Hopefully next summer we can make it work before Miss E becomes another college girl!!

Hammocking in the mountains by the Snake River is the best!

Riding up the gondola at Keystone

The view from the top of the ski mountain.  So pretty!

Found some snow up there!

We love Keystone!

A beautiful mountain evening sunset!

Love from us at Keystone!

Thanks for visiting!  School has started here, so come back next week to see the start of that!

  1. Looks like a wonderful vacation. Love that you got to bike so much in that beautiful countryside. The wildflowers are so pretty. Perfect way to end the summer.
