How has your week been? We finally got some cooler fall-like temperatures, and then it jumped back up to the 90's for the weekend, but hoping to cool down again. We had two cross country races this week. Mr J is having a great season. It has been a good week. Take a look...
Made my yearly 2 batches of strawberry freezer jam this week. Love this stuff!
Mr J and Ben have been working on Lego projects--going through old sets and making sure there are not pieces missing. It is a fun project!
Cross country race #1 for the week. Mr J did awesome and got 2nd place. Proud of him!
I walk every morning, and was so excited this morning because it was cool enough that I needed a hoodie! Woohoo! Sadly it hasn't stayed that cool, but looking forward to the time when hoodies are needed every day!
Date night this week....we went up to the city and attended our church's temple service together. It was a beautiful evening!
Cross country race #2 for the week. This was a huge meet. Over 35 teams and over 260 runners in Mr J's race from all over and multiple states. This was the huge prayer circle for the runners before the race. Loved to see this!
It was a very challenging course, but so beautiful! It is the course the Big 12 run their cross country meet at. Mr J had a great race!
Finishing strong! Biggest race he will ever run! Way bigger than the state cross country meet.
After the race he walked us around the course--as spectators you couldn't see a lot of it. There were two covered bridges they ran though. This was one.
And this was the 2nd one. Beautiful place that I enjoyed walking around and was glad I wasn't running but sure proud of Mr J!
Thanks for visiting! Hope you had a great week! Stay safe and healthy and happy!
