First full week of summer! All 3 girls are working this summer. Mr J and Miss E are doing swim team. Miss E has driver's ed and then all have music/band lessons. It is going to be a fun summer! Lots of down time in there too, though. That is important! Take a look at our week. . .
Mr J will be starting band next school year, and will be doing band lessons over the summer. He has decided he wants to play the saxophone! Cool! It should go well with the trombone and French horn that the other girls play.
Miss E's first day of work was Memorial day--she is a cashier at the pool but still gets a cool suit and whistle :) Miss O and Miss A also had to work Memorial day, so it was a quiet evening for Ben, Mr J and me. I think we will have lots of those this summer.
Visiting the cemetery as part of our Memorial Day tradition. This is a memorial to Civil War soldiers and a civil war cemetery.

Miss O (in her Stars Wars shirt), Miss E and I went to a 3 day church youth conference in the city end of last week. It was a lot of fun for the kids, but a lot of work! We were very tired when we got home!
My kids love to decorate cakes and cupcakes. Today Miss E made cupcakes and cream cheese frosting so she could decorate some fancy cupcakes.
Miss E and Mr J got in on it too.
