LOTS of pictures in this post. Mr J's last piano recital and then Mrs A graduated from law school!!!! So proud of her hard work, and it was a lot of hard work!!! Take a look at our week...
Mr J had his last piano recital this week. He played an amazing solo of Gershwin's and then did two duets with his friend. They have been taking lessons since they were 5 and been playing together for about as long.
Mr J, his piano friend and their teacher who has taught them since they were 5! She also taught me when I was in high school :)
Ben and I got on a plane super early Wednesday morning to fly out for Mrs A law school graduation. Mr J couldn't join us because he had two track meets, and a band competition. Lots going on right now!
Ben and Miss E doing a puzzle at Mr and Mrs A's house before we headed to graduation.
The huge BYU commencement. Mrs A is on the 2nd row. :)
Our law school graduate! So proud of her!
Mr and Mrs A!
Very proud Mom and Dad!
Woohoo! She is done!
All the family (but Mr J) was there for her law school graduation.
BYU had the huge commencement for everyone, and then the law school had their own graduation ceremony later where Mrs A was hooded with a juris doctor law degree. Steve Young, also a BYU law school grad and SF 49ers Quarterback, was their speaker and then when she got her degree, she got a picture with him, the BYU president and the dean.
Had a little party after to celebrate the lawyer!
Mrs A and her friend growing up who was also her college roommate also graduated. So fun to see them together again!
Day after graduation we played some pickleball.
Went to an open house for a new temple near Mr and Mrs A's house.
Went out to dinner to celebrate the graduate!
Then we headed up to my grandparent's cabin to enjoy the mountains and being together up there.
There was still some snow up there.
And this girl had a birthday! 23 donuts for this beautiful 23-year-old!
Back at home Mr J and his saxophone quartet rocked their state competition and received a 1 rating which is the highest available!
So a busy week! Thanks for visiting and catching up with us! Hope you are safe, happy, and healthy wherever you are! Have a great week!
