Crazy first week of December, 3 basketball games, 2 Christmas concerts and a school board conference. Crazy. It felt like everyone was trying to push everything into this first week of December. Thankfully we made it through, but this next week has 4 basketball games plus 2 tournaments on Saturday and one more Christmas concert. Ugh. Bring it on. But here is a look at our last week. . .
I value Sundays so much because it is really the only day we are ever all home together for some family time. Sunday afternoon Ben and the girls enjoyed playing a game together--Q-bitz. It is a fun block pattern game. Love our family time!
Christmas concert #1 of the week was high school band. I really do enjoy their concerts I just wish they weren't on weeks with 20 other things, but oh well. Grateful my kids love music and grateful for such a wonderful teacher that inspires them! Miss A (her last Christmas band concert) and Miss O are playing French horn in there somewhere
Christmas concert #2 for the week--High school choir. Miss O singing her heart out in this one. Awesome.
And Miss A singing her heart out with her smaller ensemble--her last choir Christmas concert. They all did great!
Miss E had a few games this week, but I didn't get pictures, but Friday night was Miss O's first high school JV game. She was so nervous, but she did awesome. She is in the white. Once high school basketball starts it is crazy. It lasts until March, so basketball here we (continue) to go
In the midst of all this crazy at home, I had a state wide school board conference I needed to go to over the weekend. We shuffled kids so Ben could go with me. It was a great conference, and I learned a ton. I just wish they didn't have it the first weekend in December! Oh well. It was nice to get away with Ben for the weekend too.
This is my Dad (third from left) and all his brothers and sisters. They got together recently for my Grandma's birthday, and I just now got the picture from my cousin. Definitely needed to include this in my Project Life album. Love all these people so much!
Thanks for visiting! Come again tomorrow! Great recipe to share.
