2015 Daily December 1 week 48

Happy December!  I am going to keep up my tradition of Daily December blogging, so I hope you will join me!  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Here are the pictures of our  last week. . .
Ben and Mr J working on a paracord bracelet. Mr J makes some really cool designs.

Miss E making our weekly Sunday cookies.  We tried a new recipe--cream cheese chocolate chip cookies--yum!  Will share the recipe tomorrow, so be sure and come back!

Miss O making her famous banoffee pie for Thanksgiving.  The recipe is from Mel's Kitchen Cafe here.  It is divine!

And our Thanksgiving dinner--the Kids' table

The "teen" part of the table :)

And a shot of everyone--lots of good food and company!

We have the tradition that we decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.  We got a new tree this year, a HUGE 12 foot one--prelit thank goodness.  Miss E and Ben are starting to get it up.

One of our Thanksgiving traditions is making a Thankful tree.  This is the one we did this year.  So much to be thankful for!

And the 12 foot giant is done and decorated!  Pretty awesome!

We got an ice storm.  They are really pretty as long as you don't have to drive in them and your power doesn't go out.  Luckily we were spared on both of those accounts, so we just got to enjoy it from the warm inside of our house.

Miss O ringing the bell for Salvation Army this weekend.  Getting some service in when it was nice and cold and drizzling rain.  Burr!

Thanks for visiting!  Come back soon!

    I LOVE your thankful tree.
We know ALL about ice storms here in North Texas and I'm glad y'all didn't have to go anywhere and that you didn't lose power!
Your tree is SO TALL & SO PRETTY! :)
