Our past week in pictures. . .
Sunday: The live nativity that we got to see. It was amazing--simple and awe inspiring.
Monday: Ben was helping Mr J build a train track in his room, and love J's look of concentration and pose--he was thinking hard about that train track!
Tuesday: Several years ago for Christmas my mom gave us a set of hand bells and music. Tonight we were practicing some Christmas songs with them.
Wednesday: You may know this already, but if not, then my mom is the librarian at my kids' elementary school, and she is amazing and does decorating gingerbread (or graham cracker gingerbread) houses in the library in December. I happened to be in there when Miss E's class was decorating theirs. Lots of fun!
Thursday: no picture
Friday: We went to Branson to visit some friends. We had breakfast with Santa!
Saturday: We went to Silver Dollar City, and Ben (bless his heart) took these 4 kiddos on one of the roller coasters. I happily took pictures and watched :) Silver Dollar City was fun. The lights were amazing, but we learned from a friend who works there that they were expecting 15,000 that day, but had over 23,000 come. It was amazingly crowded!
Hope you have a great week, and check back for my daily December posts!
Looks like a fun week. Love the live nativity and how cool your mom works at the kids' school. We'll be decorating a ginger bread house over Christmas break.
ReplyDeleteSo brave to ride in that cold. I would have stayed back with you.
